At Baker Brothers Paint Co., we don’t believe in confusing estimates or “starting at” prices that magically grow once the job begins. We give straightforward, realistic pricing based on the actual work your home needs — nothing more, nothing less.
We price our jobs so we can:

What Goes Into Your Price
We don’t charge by the hour, and we don’t charge by the square foot.
We price by the job, based on:
1. The size of the space
Rooms, ceilings, hallways, staircases — every home has unique features.
2. How much prep is needed
Repairs, patching, sanding, caulking, stain blocking, moving furniture, etc.
3. The number of coats required
We always plan for 2 coats minimum.
Some colors and surfaces require 3.
4. The complexity of the room
Vaulted ceilings, detailed trim work, tight spaces, high walls, etc.
5. The materials needed
We use quality, affordable paint (Valspar), unless you prefer a premium brand like SW or BM. If so, you simply pay the material difference.
6. The timeline and schedule
We build a realistic timeline based on your project and keep you informed daily.
Our Material Guarantee
This is one of the biggest differences between us and other painters:
If we underbid materials, that’s on us.
You will never be charged more if we need extra paint.
This gives you:

No mid-job price changes

The price you’re quoted is the price you pay.
Period.
Our Payment Structure
Simple. Clear. Fair.
50% deposit when the contract is signed
50% final payment on the last day after walkthrough

What You Can Expect to Pay
These are estimates — actual pricing depends on the specifics of your space.
Our minimum for small projects is $1,000.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Typically range from $400 – $1,000 depending on size, repairs, and whether ceilings/closets are included.
Living Rooms & Common Areas
Usually $800 – $1,500, depending on height, layout, and wall conditions.
Kitchens
Often $800 – $1,200, depending on prep, cabinets, and detail work.
(Cabinet painting is priced separately.)
Whole Home Interiors
Most homes fall between $3,500 – $10,000, depending on:
overall size of the home
the amount of prep or repairs needed
the number of coats required
dark-to-light color changes
how many separate colors we’re applying
whether ceilings are included
whether trim and doors are being painted
Including ceilings, trim, baseboards, and doors can significantly increase the scope — but it also transforms the space and gives everything a clean, finished look. Your quote will clearly outline what’s included so you always know exactly what you’re getting.
